This post is really image-heavy because it contains all the icons I made since mid-April plus the ones for 20inspirations. The current round had black and white as a theme and I decided to do the fantastic movie Veronika Decides To Die. I just love it and I think it is perfect for b&w. I struggled quite a lot with it but in the end I made it and I'm quite proud ( Read more... )

We chose 10 caps each of whatever tickles our fancy, so this is a multifandom post (well it has a lot of OUAT & Sanctuary caps but it's still is multifandom ;))

Okay, what can I tell about this set apart from that it is really weird? I went out of my comfort zone pretty much and tried using textures in a more obvious way. I also picked some caps which I usually wouldn't work with and tried out new compositions. I also used the sharpen tool a lot more than I'm used to.

These were mostly made for nikita_20in20 and some of them for elitenikita. Both communities deserve a lot more attention, so anyone likes Nikita and makes icons should consider joining in ;)
To be honest I don't quite know how to describe this set. It's just an explosion of colours and a lot of grunge textures were also involved.
